Band concerts, art festivals, and other activities are regular Wilcox Park attractions. 

Garden Market Fair
Big plant sale held on the grounds, over 20 local vendors setup to sell everything garden-related as well as Park Volunteers hosting the “Kids Corner” and selling plant material originated from the park.

The annual re-dedication of the library as a living Civil War memorial.

Summer Pops Concert

The Chorus of Westerly organizes a spectacular concert featuring the Boston Pops as well as many smaller acts. A dazzling firework display is the grand finale to the concert. Bring a picnic dinner and blanket.

Town Band concerts
See one of the oldest community bands in the country. The Westerly Town Band was established in 1852 and has been performing since then with a brief 4-year hiatus several of the band members took to serve our country in the Civil War. Since the creation of the park and the construction of the Bandstand in 1902, the Westerly Town Band has been filling the park air with music annually.

Shakespeare in the Park

The Colonial Theater performs works of the Bard in Wilcox Park.  Bring dinner and a blanket to make the most of this wonderful event.  This year's production will be Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Holiday arrangement workshop
Held in the library, the workshop helps everyone in attendance get into the holiday spirit by offering materials and advice on how to create your own holiday arrangements.

Caroling
Held in the park at the historic Bandstand, carolers are led in song by Santa’s professional musical helper.
