A Victorian Strolling Park
Wilcox Park,
established in 1898, is privately owned and operated by The Memorial and
Library Association of Westerly,
open daily from dawn until 9:00 PM.
To ensure a peaceful enjoyment of the park for all, please
observe the following rules:
NOT ALLOWED
- Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, or scooters
- Private automobiles
- Alcoholic beverages
- Inappropriate language or behavior
- Feeding waterfowl
PLEASE- Enjoy the flowers and trees; do not pick, alter or climb them.
- Keep your pet on a leash and clean up after it.
- Obtain a Park Use Application to request permission for private ceremonies and events.
- Do not feed waterfowl - it is illegal under Rhode Island state law.
Park and Library staff may prohibit any activity that is
not in the interest of The Memorial and Library Association of Westerly.
