There are several spaces available for community meetings
and gatherings at the Westerly Public Library.
The two quiet study rooms can be reserved free-of-charge at the Reference Desk. These spaces are appropriate for groups of 1-4 people and can be reserved for up to 3 hours at a time.
The three
large spaces -- second-floor auditorium, second-floor gallery, and third-floor
terrace room -- can be rented through the
Facilities Manager (596.2877 x314). Please note that space
must be reserved in advance and that a fee is charged for each
use.

-
The second-floor auditorium is 41' x 34' and seats audiences up to 150

can be darkened with the audience seated in rows facing a large
pull-down
screen.

The third-floor terrace room is 43' x 43' and can be set for roundtable discussions and
workshops. The terrace room is a good option for smaller groups or for
seminars with participants seated at tables or in discussion groups.
-
The Hoxie Gallery is 30' x 50' and can be set for roundtable discussions and
workshops. The gallery is a good option for smaller groups or for
seminars with participants seated at tables or in discussion groups.
The base fee for non-profit organizations is $100.
Business and
for-profit groups pay a $200 base fee.
No alcoholic beverages without permission, no admission charges,
