Use the Internet

The Westerly Public Library offers computers for public use in the Reference area of the main level, many with Internet access and Microsoft Office 2003.  Children under 12 can visit the Children’s Room for computers with games, Internet access, and homework tools.

Eight Internet stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons with a valid Coean State Libraries (OSL) library card have one hour of access per day, in the form of two 30 minute timed sessions.  An OSL library card is required for log in.  Need a card?

Non-resident guests are entilted to a visitor pass in order to log on and must have photo ID to sign up.  Call or visit the Reference Desk for more details.

In addition, there are 6 computers reserved for catalog searches and database access.  Please see the Research page for more information on the Westerly Public Library’s subscription databases.

There are 2 Word Processing computers with Microsoft Office 2003. Reservations are accepted in person or by calling the Information Desk.  Time is limited to one hour per day.

Black & white printing is available from all computers at a cost of .15 per page.
