What exactly is a database?!

 

Databases are electronic research tools that contain collections of information from reliable magazines, newspapers, journals and reference books. Although accessed via the Web, they often require a subscription to retrieve content. The Westerly Public Library maintains several database subscriptions in an effort to provide patrons with timely, authoritative information on a wide range of topics.

Visit us in person

No need to log in with a barcode if visiting the Westerly Public Library in person. All of our databases are available using the Library Catalog computers. Please ask the Reference Staff for assistance.
