Reading of Dr. King's "Letter From Birmingham Jail"
The Westerly Area Peace and Justice Group has teamed up with Teen Space to offer a reading of Dr. King's "Letter from Birmingham Jail." This year's reading will be led by local teens!
Teens interested in reading a selection from the letter must register before Wednesday 12.15.2021. Email teens@westerlylibrary.org for for information or to register.
Minute To Win It
Join children's library staff and other kids as we compete with and against each other in fun and silly challenges. These events are designed to be completed in about a minute or less and are played with common household objects!
Challenges will be geared towards ages 8-12

In partnership with United Theatre, please join us for Movies in the Park with a free screening of Hocus Pocus AND an appearance by the Sanderson Sisters! Movies will be on a big screen in Wilcox Park and are free and open to the public.
Chopped: Library Edition
Join us for our own twist on the hit kitchen competition shows! Each participant will receive a 'mystery ingredient', to then whip up a culinary creation of their choice using that ingredient.
Tween Thursday
Keep calm and game on! Come hang out and test your Wii skills (and other fun games) against your friends for bragging rights. This program is for ages 9-12.
