Join Master Gardener William Baddeley via Zoom to learn about the basics of starting your vegetable gardens!

Vegetable gardening is an engaging and rewarding activity that requires some basic knowledge of what vegetable plants need to thrive. This talk covers the basics and provides an orientation to life in the garden. We'll talk about selecting a site for a garden, preparing it for planting, choosing seeds and plants, and planting them using a planting calendar. We'll talk about pests and weeds and how to deal with them, and caring for your growing plants. And we'll talk about how to get advice and help when you need it.

Pre-registration is required for this event, and registrees will receive an email with Zoom link on the morning of the presentation. Please register by emailing cskobrak@westerlylibrary.org no later than February 14th, 2023.
