On the fourth Saturday of the month, from June through October, come take a walk around Wilcox Park. URI Master Gardeners will show you the native gardens and plants in the Park. Tours begin with a history of the Park and an introduction to native plants. We'll make a loop around the Park, stopping at the three native gardens, and at other perennials, shrubs and trees. We'll talk about the benefits of natives, and how to care for them. Tours are on the paths, on level ground. Tours start at the Fountain by the side entrance to the Library at 10 am and last about 90 minutes.
