The Southern URI Master Gardeners presents "Gardening for Wildlife" by Kim Calcagno, Refuge Manager at Audubon Society of Rhode Island.
The talk will introduce gardeners to techniques, design ideas, and plant choices for attracting bird, butterflies, and others to your yard. Considerations for wind and water as well as use of native plants will be discussed. Tips and techniques for deterring unwanted critters will also be offered. Begin transforming you landscape into a healthy bird, butterfly, and pollinator habitat.
This program if free and open to the public and two educational credit hours for master gardeners.
