It can help you deal with the stress in your life.  It can boost your immune system and help you with your physical and emotional problems. In this presentation, Dr. Alan Post, Chiropractic Physician , long time meditator and contributing author to “Meditation as Medication for the Soul”  by Rajinder Singh, will present the latest medical and scientific data regarding meditation and the prevention and treatment of many disease states . These include high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer and chronic pain.  He will talk about the enormous body of research on meditation as the antidote to stress.  Dr. Post will also explain how and why meditation helps you connect to the source of all healing and show you how you can use meditation to access your own healing power.

Alan R. Post D.C, is a chiropractic physician who holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and graduated w/honors from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1982. He has a post graduate certification in acupuncture. In 1993 he was a member of a North American Physician Delegation to China. He is past president of both RI State and North –East regional chiropractic associations. He is a past member of the Advisory Board at the University of Bridgeport Chiropractic College.




Dr. Post has instructed physicians for continuing education credentialing, is an integrative medicine program consultant. He is active in the current health care reform process; participating on a number of committees as both a member and a presenter. Dr. Post maintains two active patient care practices in RI. He has received numerous awards for his professional service. Dr. Post has been meditating since 1976. Most recently, Dr. Post contributed a chapter to the newly released (Aug. 2012), collaborative work titled: Meditation as Medication for the Soul, by best selling author Rajinder Singh.
