Teen Space

While the library is closed, we will be sharing resources we hope will be helpful in these difficult times. Check them out here.

The Teen Space at the Westerly Library is the place for teens (ages 12-18)* in Westerly! We have a growing collection of books & magazines, comics & graphic novels, CDs & DVDs. We offer a variety of fun and educational programming throughout the school year and the summer. The Teen Space is a place just for teens. You can hang out and relax or to get some homework done. We have six laptops, a Wii, board games, decks of cards, magazines, and a variety of craft activity boxes and materials to keep you occupied and entertained!

Come to Teen Involvement to share your opinions, make YOUR voice heard, and shape the space's future. Typically, we meet on the second Friday of the month.

Need volunteer hours? We welcome volunteers who are committed to making the library a better place. Teen volunteer opportunities include: recommending books, movies, CDs and DVDs for the library, helping to plan teen programs, shelving materials, working on library displays, and doing other projects as they come along.

Contact Sandra Kobos ( for the opportunity to volunteer at the library!

Questions? Feel free to email Sandra, the Teen Librarian, at or

(*The teen space is intended for kids ages 12 - 18. Adults are welcome to browse the collection, but we'd rather families and others hang out and use computers elsewhere!)
