Donation Opportunity! The IRA Charitable Rollover has been extended through 2011. This provision, originally a part of the Pension Protection Act, allows individuals age 70-1/2 and older to donate up to $100,000 directly from their IRA to public charities without having to count the distributions as taxable income. Millions of dollars have been contributed to non-profits under this provision.
