About the Author:
Caleb Mason is the author of six books, including four novels under the pen name Don Trowden. His March 2025 novel Thickafog was inspired by Vinalhaven island. Jane Smiley says: “Insightful and beautifully written.” He is the co-author of Young Again published in 2022. His other published works are: The Isles of Shoals Remembered (1992); Normal Family (2012); No One Ran to the Altar (2016); and All the Lies We Live (2018).
