Support Westerly Library and Wilcox Park

“Giving is not just about making a donation. It's about making a difference.” - Kathy Calvin

Westerly Library and Wilcox Park is a private non-profit organization. Our annual budget is funded by our endowment, appropriations from the towns of Westerly and Stonington, gifts and aid, and community support from people like you.

Our library and park hold a special place in the hearts of many. Westerly Library & Wilcox Park is a sanctuary. The heartbeat of our community.

We recently interviewed patrons to hear their thoughts on Westerly Library & Wilcox Park. While they all have their own unique interests and are drawn to the library and park for different reasons, they all share a deep appreciation for the resources and services offered here. Donors like you keep our programs and resources free and open to our community.

David is an avid reader, nature enthusiast, park volunteer, and a donor. “Not only do we have a 15 acre park, but we have an accredited arboretum... It’s just marvelous. I firmly back the (Association’s) practice of making the library and park a place that is for everyone–that serves everyone.”

Donald likes to stay up to date on current events. Most days, he can be found in the Old Main Reading Room perusing the periodicals or in the Computer Lab browsing the internet. With the help of staff, Donald is “able to get on Zoom and other programs that I didn’t think were possible... technology is a resource that is vital to society.”
