This event will be open to the public as a financial literacy class. A financial coordinator from WCCU will be teaching the basics of budgeting, saving, understanding a credit card, building credit, reducing debt, and prioritizing bills in order to remain sustainable. WCCU will be working in conjunction with the Jonnycake Center of Westerly to educate and assist folks towards making decisions based on their unique needs.
The Jonnycake Center of Westerly provides community resources to assist people through crisis situations, out of dependency & towards self-sufficiency. Offering food, clothing, household goods & emergency financial assistance to clients who require help with basic needs.
