Are you a senior who has considered moving or downsizing due to rising housing costs? Are you the child or relative of a senior trying to plan for their future housing needs? The Town of Westerly wants to hear from you!
The Town of Westerly’s Office of Planning is currently investigating the possibility of developing select town-owned properties into dedicated senior housing. To better understand the housing needs of seniors, we have created a brief, 5–10-minute, survey to gauge interest in this project and identify preferred housing types, amenities and integrated services. Come by The Pop-Up at Coy to ask questions, take the survey and ensure your voice is heard!
About the organization:
The Town of Westerly’s Office of Planning is the development arm of the municipal government. As a process and municipal function, our work incorporates several disciplines including urban planning, architecture, urban design, historic preservation, social and natural sciences, and land use law. We are located in downtown Westerly, on the lower level of Westerly Town Hall. Our ambition is to continuously make Westerly a more prosperous, sustainable, and beautiful place to live, work, and enjoy.
Please note:
Westerly Library & Wilcox Park staff often take photos and recordings during programs and events, which may be used in publicity and marketing. If you do not wish to have your photo used, please contact a staff member to let us know and we will make every effort to honor that request.
