Join us for a reading of an original piece written by Artist-in-Residence DAVE SOLOMON with local actors including acclaimed theatre and film actress ANGELA GOETHALS (Home Alone, Jerry Maguire). The piece is yet to be finalized but will be either a short play or section of a screenplay that Solomon will be developing and working on during his residency with Westerly Library & Wilcox Park this winter.

About Angela Goethals:

Angela Goethals was born and raised in New York City and appeared onstage for the first time at age 6 in a production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew with a theatre company of young adventurers, The Watery Star; her mother worked concessions, PR, among many other jobs; she and her sister appeared in the final scene, the wedding, drinking ginger ale out of goblets. Angela has had the pinch-me-I'm-dreaming experiences of saying words written by William Shakespeare, Tina Howe, William Inge, Edward Albee, John Guare, Eugene O'Neill, Gina Gionfriddo, Horton Foote, Annie Weisman, Lynn Redgrave, Amos Poe, Madeleine George, David E. Kelley, John Hughes, Chris Columbus, James Brooks, and David J. Steive, among many other fierce talents. She is honored and amazed to be here, saying words by the fiercely talented David Solomon (a dear friend from Vassar College - shout out to VC Class of '99). Angela is most recognized for insulting Macaulay Culkin in French in Home Alone. She is proud and delighted to call Westerly home where she lives with her partner in all things, Russell Soder, and their three brilliant children.
