About the Presenter: Kathryn Aaron is the artistic associate for the Chorus of Westerly. There she leads the Foundations Chorus, a non-auditioned group designed for beginning adult vocalists as well as the Westerly Threshold Singers, a choir that offers musical comfort to those on the threshold of life. In addition to her conducting and teaching duties, she also works as a professional oratorio and choral singer. Ms Aaron holds degrees in classical voice with an emphasis on historical performance practice from Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University, the Early Music Institute of the Jacob School of Music at Indiana University Bloomington, and the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University.
