We will be meeting in-person and via Zoom to discuss 3 movies (chosen during the previous meeting). As well as discussing the movies, we always love to share recommendations about movies and tv shows. It's always fun and laughs are guaranteed!

Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (Starring Diane Ladd and Ellen Burstyn; directed by Martin Scorcese)

When Alice's husband dies and leaves her with their eleven-year old son, she leaves for California, but is stranded in Phoenix. She lands a waitressing job and meets a rancher.

Marriage Story (Starring Scarlet Johanson, Adam Driver, Laura Dern; directed by Noah Baumbach)

A love story about divorce. A marriage coming apart and a family coming together. A hilarious and harrowing, sharply observed, and deeply compassionate film from writer-director Noah Baumbach. Charlie is a charismatic New York theater director wedded to his work. Nicole is an actor who is ready to change her own life. Their hopes for an amicable divorce fade as they are drawn into a system that pits them against each other and forces them to redefine their relationship and their family.

Nebraska (Starring Bruce Dern, Will Forte; directed by Alexander Payne)

After receiving a sweepstakes letter in the mail, a cantankerous father thinks he's struck it rich, and wrangles his estranged son into taking a road trip to claim the fortune. Getting waylaid in the father's hometown in Nebraska, the son tries to reconnect with his impenetrable father.
