Join us in the Terrace Room for our weekly homeschool hangout where we'll explore different building topics paired with an exciting activity each week! Materials will be provided, but we encourage participants to bring recycled building materials they find interesting.

Nov 9th: Fandom Fest Prep

Help the library prep for our Fandom Fest program held on Nov 14th. We will be creating zines and fan art for our Manga themed pop-up in The Pop-Up at Coy!

Library will provide: paper, book inspiration, tracing paper, coloring utensils, rulers

Please bring: a picture of a favorite character to trace or replicate, an idea for a short story

Nov 16th: Trinket Trade

Cleanout your closets and bring items to trade with other homeschool families. This can include but not limited to: old curriculum, unused or lightly used workbooks, art supplies, and other supplies you do not need but can be helpful to others.

Nov 23rd: No Meeting

Nov 30th: Marshmallow Structures & Recipe Sharing

Create a sculpture or creation using marshmallows and toothpicks! We will also be collecting recipes to create a Homeschool Hangout Recipe book! If you have a recipe you'd like to share please email it to: mfricchione@westerlylibrary.org

Dec 7th: Tiny Worlds

Recreate the world you see but small! We will be creating small versions of towns, real buildings, your own room, or whatever you'd like to make miniature!

Library will provide: small boxes, scrapbooking paper, corks, pipe cleaners

Please bring: inspiration on a real-life building or structure you'd like to recreate, small boxes, pattern paper, doll furniture
