Join our artist-in-residence, Noam Makover for a concert in the park's historic bandstand! Noam will be performing on piano and trumpet along with a bass player, playing his own compositions and some interpretations of jazz classics.
About Noam:
Noam Makover is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends acoustic and electronic sound worlds with a refined, personal aesthetic. Born in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and raised in Westerly, Rhode Island, Noam moved to Miami at the age of 17, where he studied at the Frost School of Music (Univ. of Miami) and continued to deepen his artistic practice across genres and cultures. He is currently transitioning to Los Angeles, with his Fall 2025 Artist Residency at Westerly Library & Wilcox Park serving as a meaningful return to his hometown and a bridge between chapters in his evolving career. Noam is looking forward to using the time as artist-in-residence to create a self-produced recording project exploring local themes in his hometown.
