Please join the Dante Society of Westerly for a presentation on "Italian Immigrant Traditions in Westerly" with Dante member Ed Gradilone! What traditions are still alive and well? What traditions still exist, but have changed? What traditions are no longer part of the Westerly community? Find out the answers to these and other questions in this presentation.

Ed Gradilone is a founding member of the Dante Society of Westerly. He earned a B.A. in Italian and Spanish, and M.A. in Counseling, from the University of Rhode Island. He was a Foreign Language Teacher, and counselor at Westerly High School for thirty years, instrumental in starting the English as a Second Language Program (ESL) at the secondary level in the Westerly School System. He has been an active member of the Westerly com-munity including: past president of the Calabrese Club and the Dante Society; past president of the Mount Carmel Feast Committee; and member of the Bocce Club.
