Please join the Dante Society of Westerly for a presentation on "Italian Immigrant Traditions in Westerly" with Dante member Ed Gradilone! What traditions are still alive and well? What traditions still exist, but have changed? What traditions are no longer part of the Westerly community? Find out the answers to these and other questions in this presentation.

Ed Gradilone is a long time member and past President of the Dante Society of Westerly. He earned a B.A. in Italian and Spanish, and M.A. in Counseling, from the University of Rhode Island. He was a Foreign Language Teacher, and counselor at Westerly High School for thirty years, instrumental in starting the English as a Second Language Program (ESL) at the secondary level in the Westerly School System. He has been an active member of the Westerly community including: past President of the Calabrese Club and the Dante Society; member of the Mount Carmel Feast Committee; and member of the Bocce Club.

The discussion will take place in the library's Auditorium on the second floor. For more information or questions please visit: https://dantesocietywesterly.org/
