Join us in the Terrace Room for our weekly homeschool hangout. From February 2nd to March 28th, we will be hosting a "Little Engineers" series. Join us as we explore different building topics paired with an exciting activity! Materials will be provided, but we encourage participants to bring recycled building materials they find interesting!
Week 1 Meet & Greet
Week 2 Bridges
Build a bridge out of marshmallows! Marshmallows will be provided, but we encourage participants to bring extra!
Week 3 Boats & Buoyancy
Learn about what makes things float and create your own boat
Week 4 Towers
Create a tower out of recycled materials. Bring any extra materials you find interesting or that you think would be a good building piece to create a tower
Week 5 Marble Runs
Build a marble run to explore gravity and momentum.
Week 6 Cars & Axels
Learn about the law of motion and how to get an object moving
Week 7 Create your own invention
Using the concepts from previous weeks let your imagination run wild and create your own invention!
