Join us for a special wreath-making workshop featuring fresh evergreens cut from Wilcox Park. Alan Peck, Wilcox Park Superindent, and Stacey Jackson, Director of Development, will share botanical information, instruction, and tips for creating a stunning holiday wreath. Greens, ribbons, frames, wire, decorative elements, and refreshments will be provided.

Craft a magnificent wreath with the following greens:

  • Norway Spruce (Picea abies)
  • Blue Princess Holly (Ilex meserveae 'Blue Princess')
  • Golden Threadleaf Cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Filifera Aurea')
  • Daub's Frosted Juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Daub's Frosted')
  • Bracken's Brown Beauty (Magnolia grandiflora 'Bracken's Brown Beauty')
  • Eastern Red Cedar (Juniperus virgineana)
  • Red Twig Dogwood (Cornus sericea)
  • Moss False-cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Squarrosa')

This is a festive fundraiser and a fun way to support Westerly Library & Wilcox Park!
