2025 Summer Reading!

It's our favorite time of year...time for our Summer Reading Program to begin! This year, our theme is "Level Up". We have fun activities and programs all summer long, and all ages are encouraged to log their reading for the chance to win great prizes. See below for specifics on the Summer Reading Program for each age group. Here is your Call to Adventure this summer! It's time to Level Up our reading!

Adults Ages 18+

• Sign up at the library, or use the Beanstack app to sign and track your reading.
• You receive a ticket for every book you read this summer. Submit your tickets in Beanstack to our weekly drawing, OR stop by the library to fill out your ticket for each book you read.
• Receive a free book AND a free ticket just for signing up!
• We will have a drawing every week throughout the summer, each one for a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
• Summer Reading runs from June 28-August 31

Teens Ages 13-17

• Register to join the Reading Challenge. Keep track of your reading on the Summer Reader's Journey Log Bookmark, or use the Beanstack app to log your reading online.
• Receive a FREE book at Registration! (Beanstack participants may visit Teen Space for their free book.)
• Log your reading all summer long and for ALL types of reading! Each hour EARNS one ticket toward the Summer Finale Drawing Prizes!
• Register to join the Activity Challenge in person at the Teen Space. Take part in teen programs or utilize resources in teen space, such as the Switch/Wii, Craft Closet, Gaming Computers, or share some tunes with the Teen Space Guitar!
• Earn one ticket for each day of participation.  Tickets go towards the Weekly Activity Drawing Prizes!

Tweens Ages 9-12

• Sign up and track your reading with our paper packet, or use the Beanstack app to sign and track your reading.
• Log your reading all summer long! You receive a ticket for every 30 minutes of reading that you log.
• If you need additional reading logs, come see us at the Children's Desk.

Kids Ages 0-8:

• Sign up and track your reading with our paper packet.
• Receive a free book just for signing up!
• Log your reading all summer long to earn tickets towards great prizes.
• Complete summer activities and write book reviews to earn extra tickets!
• If you need additional reading logs or book review sheets come see us at the Kid's Desk!
