About The Oxherd Boy:

The Oxherd Boy Book CoverFrom its social media origins to its recent publishing debut, The Oxherd Boy offers readers a mystical and tender world where they can wonder, reflect, and recharge. "The Oxherd Boy" is predominantly grounded in the Three Harmonious Teachings or 三教合一 (sān jiào hé yī ), which is the foundation of classical Chinese education.

Through the characters of a young boy, his family ox, and a rabbit living in his garden, the book highlights how perspectives from Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism, can benefit our daily lives. Part of the art of applying the Three Teachings is debating and deciding which wisdom to apply to each situation. While conflicts do arise, it is part of the process to surface the wisest solutions as the situation demands.

The goal is to develop peaceful relationships with nature, with society, and with ourselves, resulting in a life filled with meaning and purpose.
