May is National Bike Month: a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to give it a try!

We're kicking off the month by helping you get your bike in shape for the season. Josh from Remy's Cycle and Teddy's Toys will lead a hands-on program that will teach you how to perform basic maintenance on your bicycle, including tube changing. Participants are highly encouraged to bring their own bike, but are also welcome to come and watch/listen. All other supplies will be provided, and everyone will receive their own tire levers to take home, as well as a voucher for a regular-priced tube from Remy's!

Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Register below, or by calling (401) 596-2877 x306.

In the event of inclement weather, this program will be held on Thursday, May 16th at 4:00 p.m.

Please note that this program will take place on the Esplanade, next to the side entrance to the library. Participants may walk their bikes up to the meeting place, but bike riding in the park is strictly prohibited.
