Join us for a sound bath in the park!

This event is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. No prior experience is necessary. Please be sure to bring a yoga mat or blanket.

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a meditation practice that uses the vibrations of sound to bring about deep relaxation and healing. The sound therapist will use a variety of instruments, such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks, to create a soothing and immersive sound environment.

What are the benefits of sound baths?

Sound baths have been shown to have a number of benefits, including:

  • Reducing stress and anxiety
  • Improving sleep
  • Boosting mood
  • Reducing pain
  • Increasing focus and concentration
  • Promoting overall well-being

What to expect:

You will be invited to lie down on a yoga mat or blanket in a comfortable position, or bring a beach chair to sit and enjoy the sound bath. The sound therapist will then begin playing the instruments, creating a soothing and relaxing soundscape. You may feel tingling or vibrations in your body as the sound waves wash over you. There is no right or wrong way to experience a sound bath. Simply relax and allow yourself to be enveloped by the sound.

Where:

The sound bath will take place in the meadow, near the pond. Look for a big gong and you will find us there!

When:

Wednesdays, May 21st, June 18th, July 23rd, August 20th
